For commuters, there’s the convenient Pickering GO and Durham Region Transit stations nearby – complete with enclosed pedestrian bridge to get you over the 401.

Another civilized option: board Via Rail in Oshawa and Guildwood. Make use of the free wifi, order an amuse bouche (if you’re going somewhere of considerable distance) and marvel at how having the right connections really can get you places in style.
